In this fun class, we will be putting together a quilt with 2 1/2" strips and we will also be using our AccuQuilt to make the butterflies to attach. If you bring your own jelly roll, the class is $10. If you purchase your jelly roll from us at the store, the $10 fee for the class will be deducted from your price of the jelly roll you select. Come in to the store in advance of the class, and pick your jelly roll and we will put it aside for you until the class. There are only 8 jelly rolls available for purchase. First come, first serve!

This is a first class for beginners. In this five week course, you will learn how to use the rotary cutter, how to piece accurately by finding the perfect quarter inch, and the correct way to iron your blocks.

If you are a newbie to the sewing world, this class is for you. You do not need a machine to take this class, we can have a machine for you to work on. Here, you will learn how to choose and coordinate fabrics, measure and cut, sew and finish seams with this fun and simple project. This Quick and Easy Pillowcase is sew much fun to make, you will want to make them for friends and family.

If you have taken "Project Pillowcase" and are ready to move to the next step, or, if you have a basic understanding of sewing (i.e., you know how to use your machine and have done some general sewing), this class is for you. This class revolves around making a pair of pajama bottoms. You will learn about the grain of fabric, laying out and cutting a pattern then sewing together.

Bring whatever you need Debi's help with. Are you on that embroidery project you need some advice with, or do you need a second opinion on how to get that project or technique just right? Everyone is welcome to have fun and spend time with friends. Stay after if you need to finish up. Join us for an informative and inspirational hands-on, two-day workshop on free-motion quilting using your sewing machine. Come to our Sip and Sew two-day event with Hope Yoder. We will be bringing in 10 of Pfaff's newest embroidery machine, the "Icon," along with 15 of Viking's "Epic." Please reserve your machine in advance by letting us know which machine you would like to sit at.

Kathi, a renowned and award-winning quilter and an expert in Judy Neimeyer quilts, will be doing this class for all those who have started and would like to complete their Judy Neimeyer projects. We are very lucky to have her teaching this class at our Santa Rosa store, and are looking forward to more classes in the next year.

Try your hand at modern quilting! In this class you will learn how to make Half-Rectangle Triangles in any size with minimum waste, and sew blocks to start a fun modern quilt. We will discuss tips for large scale piecing, color choices, and have fun with block layout. A fat quarter friendly pattern includes instructions for six quilt sizes (baby through king). These OVER sized bags are fun, fast and easy to assemble. They are extra-large so that you can take your quilt, hoops and supplies when you are on the go. The STITCH bag is especially large and it has a lot of space to be able to applique, hand embroider or machine embroider on it. Bags range in size from 23" wide x 17" high to 31" wide x 19" high with a 7" depth.

Nancy's back and has a fun new sampler quilt for you. You will be working on several blocks in each class and YES, you will be doing that pieced border. It will all fit together when you are through, she promises. The background fabric is teamed with lots of scrappy fabrics or you can choose to use only several fabrics. It's all your choice.
